Hey u guyz.. I think I might be able to help....
To enable ur friends to send u pm's:
~ Go to ur profile page
~ Above ur PROFILE PICTURE u shld see "view" & "edit".. Click "edit"
~ That'll take u to the page with ur username, email address, signature, password etc.
~ Scroll down (about midway) u'll see a box titled "PRIVATE MESSAGE SETTINGS"
~ Click on the lil box beside "Allow Private Messages"
~ Scroll all the way down to the bottom & click submit (bottom left)
That shld do it... try it & lemme know if it works...
